Well it's that time of year again and the knomo team have been heading off in search of sun, sand and relaxation...well almost everyone. Our intrepid Finance Director, Alastair decided to do things a little differently and headed to the Arctic (Svalbard in Norway to be precise) with his partner Jules, to spend 2 weeks floating amongst the icebergs and checking out the sea life. Needless to say, the area was very, very cold, but also breathtakingly beautiful…see a selection of his shots below. As for me, a week long trip to Greece for a friends wedding was the perfect antidote to a hectic and hot London town. Check out some of my snaps below too. Caroline x

We all know the tale of the hare and the tortoise, but do we ever think of the benefits of stepping down a gear? For many city-dwelling commuters like us who live life in the fast lane, it can be tempting to let the city’s endless conveyor belt dictate our fast-paced lifestyle. But maybe it’s about time we listened to that wise old tortoise and took the scenic route for once. ‘Slow Down London’ is a new project intended to inspire Londoners to hold their horses and teach us how to, well, slow down.

Spending a warm Thursday evening with Samuel L Jackson has gotta be one of the coolest things you can do, and we don’t mean to brag, but…visa-vie, we are pretty cool! OK, so we were sharing him with 300 other people, but considering amongst the crowd were the likes of Luke Wilson, Colin Salmon, Alice Cooper and Flex Alexander, we won’t complain.
